Binding and Loosing

A previous posting at fredhoehnblog, titled "Searching for the Real Christianity," listed some things lacking in some of the so-called Christian Churches.

Another item that is part of the Real Christianity is Binding and Loosing.

Jesus spoke of binding and loosing in Matthew 16:19 where he said, "Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

In other words, heaven backs you up when you bind and loose on earth.  But don't try this if you're not a Christian.  The "you" in the scripture above is Christians.  That scripture is for God's people, the Christians.

If you're a Muslim it's not going to work for you.  If you're a Buddhist, it's not going to work for you.  If you're "Christian Science," it's not going to work for you, even though you have Christian in the name of your religion.  It is a lie to put the word Christian in the name of the religion Christian Science, since those people are not followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, but followers of fables.

Christian Science teaches that you must think right, and if you think right you won't have disease.  But Jesus said, "Which of you by thinking can add eighteen inches to his height?" (Matt 6:27)  And the answer is, no one can make himself taller by thinking.  Nor do people get rid of cancer by thinking.  

But if you're a Christian (and not "Christian Science) then you can command the mountain of sickness, whatever it is, to go and be thrown into the sea, and it will go, if you believe that what you say will happen, and don't doubt in your heart. (see Mark 11:23)

Now for an example of binding and loosing.  Many people from time to time have had financial problems.  I've had them myself.  Let's say you have a financial problem.  I'm not saying that you do--this is just an example.  

To use binding and loosing against the problem, as a born again Christian, open your mouth and speak words like this,  "I bind all powers of the enemy that are causing these financial problems.  I loose ministering spirits to solve my financial problems and to fight for my finances, and for my family's finances in Jesus' name."

After doing that, stay in faith, and don't start doubting.

What do I mean "ministering spirits?"  I mean the angels that God has provided to help us.  Kenneth E. Hagin teaches on this in his little book, "How God Taught Me about Prosperity,"  available at some Christian book stores, or at www.Rhema.org

Another item that is part of the Real Christianity is speaking in tongues.  Dr. Charles Stanley, a pastor in Atlanta, GA, has said that's been done away with, but Stanley is dead wrong about this.  

If the Baptism with the Holy Ghost with the speaking in unknown tongues has been done away with, how did I get it some fifty or more years ago, and how have I been able to pray in unknown tongues every day since then, Dr. Stanley?  Therefore, the Lord rebuke you, in Jesus' name.
