Oct 2010 Dear Bob Zale: I purchased from you a Power Basic for DOS, version 3.5 compiler perhaps five years ago for about $150.00. I was living in Los Angeles at the time. It came with CDRom and two books. The computer I had at the time was a refurbished Dell desktop computer. Think it had a Pentium microprocessor, and probably the Windows XP operating system. I wrote some programs in BASIC and got them working. But I pretty much wore out that computer and then junked it. More recently, I acquired a Compac Presario CQ62-209WM laptop with an AMD Athlon II dual-core processor for Notebook PC's P320 (2.1 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache), and the Windows 7 operating system. When I try to install Power Basic from the disc, I get an error message telling me it's not compatible. How do I use my Power Basic on the Compaq Presario? Sincerely, Fred Hoehn, P.O.Box 781, Omaha, NE 68101
