Walking by Faith

Dear Mr. O.:  You came into the lobby & I was sitting at the TV.  You told about people who had had their Social Security taken away.  I said, "The Lord's not going to let that happen to me."  You said, "I wish I had that confidence."  I said, "You have to say it, like I did."

Don't you know you can have what you say?  It's Mark chapter eleven.  
  Mark 11:23  “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be removed, and be thrown into the sea; and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that the things that he says shall happen; he shall have whatsoever he says.”

Jesus is saying you can move a mountain.  Step one: Tell it to go.  Step two:  Don't doubt in your heart.  Step three:  Believe that what you say will happen.  

It's not so much a matter of my confidence, it's a matter of knowing the right way to talk, and putting that knowledge into practice.  

I said, "The Lord's not going to let that happen to me."  And, O, the Lord's not going to let that happen to me because I say that he won't let that happen to me.  He'll do it because I said it, but I need to not doubt in my heart and believe what I said.  

And you can do that too.  Any Christian can.
